Ruff Rescue is dedicated to rescuing stray animals in the state of Alabama.
We serve Walker County and all domestic animals, including cats and dogs.
Your support provides vital resources and a safe haven for at-risk animals.
Our Capital Fund will help fund our most recent building project. We are hoping to house dozens of animals at the shelter and we need help to support the building capital fund. We are looking for an angel investor to sponsor the entire building project for a one time donation of $30,000 or you may sponsor a kennel or other part of the building for donations ranging from a one time donation of $500 to $1000.
Here is what we have spent so far:
- $14,000 building
- $12,000 concrete and drains
- $1,200 water line install
- $1,800 meter install
- $2,500 excavation/dirt/gravel
- Wiring/Lights: $3,500
- Lumber: $2,500
- Spray Foam: $3,200
- Metal for walls in kennels and exterior: $3,000
- Septic $6,200+$450 dirt
- Fencing for play yards: $2,800
- Concrete epoxy: $300
- Dog doors: $1,800 (still have to order)
- Kennels: $6,000 (12 months no interest)
- Appliances/supplies $3,000-5,000
